They collaborate with SCANNET project contributing to the expansion of knowledge about natural conditions in the northern region and the effects of climate changes on it.

TERRY SMITH

Terry Smith

Professor

She is the leader of the expedition and scientific team conducting a current project of exploration of freshwater systems in the circumarctic region. Hers broad knowledge and rich experience in this field contribute to gathering new data and accumulating knowledge on this matter and its impact on the global environment.

MORTEN HANSON

Morten Hanson

Professor

He is coordinating Alaska observatory station. With expert’s knowledge on the Arctic matter and well familiar with the methods of exploring northern regions, Hanson is leading the team of researchers exploring changes in biodiversity caused by global warming and overall climate disturbances. The collected data is presented via SCANNET geo-database websites.

MAUREEN KAY

Maureen Kay

Professor

She is the vice chair of the international project focused on exploring, understanding and interfering with Arctic changes. Hers team is currently settled in newly founded observatory station in Norway and regularly connected with SCANNET project. The team includes experts in various disciplines dedicated to testing models of environment preservation in northern latitudes.
